<P>I have been trying out the precompiled binary for ups 3.34 for Solaris 2=
.7 on a Solaris 2.7 machine with g++ 2.8.1. &nbsp;There is an occasional di=
screpancy between the character array data from a string when viewed in ups=
 and when written to cout. &nbsp;The problem seems to be one of display in =
ups as the values written to cout seem correct and are consistent with bran=
