I am now running the 3.38beta and it behaves the same way. I have 
found it to be a bitfield structure display issue. The bit values are
actually correct in the program. they just don't show up right through
UPS.

We started using UPS in 1993 and had no problems with the bitfield
displays until now.

Hey! I just downloaded and compiled UPS 3.33 and the bitfields are
displaying and editing very well. This will be much preferred over
ddd.
